First, we would like to thank you for your interest in supporting and encouraging our team. We are the Carden Tech Monkeys, an eight member robotics team that recently achieved something extraordinary. In just our second year as a robotics team, we have earned the honor of being one of only 50 teams from the United States invited to compete in the First Lego League WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP in Houston, Texas. This event will bring teams from all over the globe to showcase their skills, creativity, and innovation.
To us, this milestone represents countless hours of dedication, teamwork, and learning. From designing and programming our robot, to using the engineering design process to create a prototype and solution for a real-world challenge facing deep ocean exploration, we have worked hard to reach this level. Along the way, we have gained invaluable experience, learned to problem solve as a team, and most importantly, had a lot of fun!
Attending the World Championship involves significant expenses, including travel, accommodations, and competition fees. While we are actively fundraising, we cannot achieve this goal without the support of generous individuals or businesses like you. Your contribution would help make this once-in-a-lifetime experience possible!
